GERMAN KPM PORCELAIN PLAQUE, featuring Santa Cecilia playing the organ in a beautiful gown with hair in a bun and a halo, after the painting by Carlo Dolci (Italian, 1616-1686), no signature located. Housed in a giltwood Florentine-style frame with "Santa Cecilia" to metal plaque on bottom. Impressed "K.P.M" below scepter to back. Konigliche Porzellan Manufaktur (KPM), Berlin, Germany. Second half 19th century. 6 3/8" x 5 5/8" sight, 9 5/8" x 9" OA.
Condition
Plaque undamaged; frame having expected age wear including scattered cracks and paint loss.
