GILLINDER LION HEAD INKWELL COVER, frosted colorless, lion-headed cover with deeply recessed/hollow-interior base and overhanging front paws. Gillinder & Sons, Philadelphia PA. Fourth quarter 19th century. 2 1/2" H.
Condition
Excellent condition with a misshapen area of possibly post-production polishing to underside of lion's right paw. Slight mold roughness and multiple surface annealing lines, as-made.
