COIN SILVER OPEN SALTS, PAIR, each having a round-form well with flared rim, sides featuring repousse, chased, and engraved floral garland decoration, scrolled frame surrounding engraved "PSJ" initials, raised on a round pedestal-type foot. Each impressed to base with the three Gorham pseudo hallmarks utilized c. 1855 to 1860 above "COIN". Total weight: 2.395 ozt. Gorham & Co., Providence, RI. Mid 19th century. Each 2 3/8" D rim, 1 5/8" HOA.
Very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and nicks, minor worn spots to raised and engraved decoration, possibly one or a few minor/small dents; one with rim slightly out of round.
