Catalogue Note: We could locate no other examples of this pitcher. The above reference shows illustrations of Harley Pottery ads showing blue spongeware water colors and other Bristol-glazed wares they were producing. William Jennings Bryan (1860-1925) ran for President in the 1896, 1900, and 1908 elections. He visited the Tennessee State Fair in 1908, which is the year this pitcher is dated.
Some shallow chips and flakes to the spout and rim exterior, very light 1 1/2" hairline off rim near handle.
