HISTORICAL ABRAHAM LINCOLN ARTICLE WITH DOCUMENTATION, a walnut plaque with profile bust of Abraham Lincoln with a signed and notarized letter by William M Deffenbaugh, State of Illinois / Sangamon County, stating "the walnut in this plaque was taken from the old walnut / doors of the Ninian Edwards home where Abraham / Lincoln courted and married Mary Todd. The / dwelling was formerly owned by Bishop Seymour, / and these doors were removed at the time the / residence was remodeled, and the undersigned / purchased them from the widow of Bishop Sey - / mour.
Catalogue Note: Ninian Edwards was married to Elizabeth Porter Todd, sister of Mary Todd Lincoln.
