HOBNAIL APOTHECARY SHOW GLOBES / GLASS JARS, LOT OF TWO, colorless, each blown in two sections, each having a hobnail/dew drop pattern and manipulated into baluster body shape, with applied neck rings, smaller sections with well-fitting stoppers, raised on tall bell-form hollow feet with rough pontil marks to underside. Fourth quarter 19th century. 29 1/2" HOA.
Condition
Excellent condition, each with routine wear, and some scattered scuffing to the high points of pattern.
Collection of the late Al and Billy Steidel, Alexandria, VA.
