IDA JANE KISER (OHIO / VIRGINIA, 1856-1931) FOLK ART HUDSON RIVER VALLEY VIEW, oil on canvas, depicting the Tomb of Kosciusko at West Point, New York, inscribed on the reverse "Painted by Ida J. Early". Housed in likely original gilt molded frame. Probably after a Currier & Ives print. Fourth quarter 19th century. 22" x 27" sight, 29" x 34" OA.
Catalogue Note: Ida Jane Kiser (Ohio / Virginia, 1856-1931) born in West Liberty, OH, was married to Daniel "Dan" Early in 1889 in Logan County, OH. In October of 1889 she gave birth to her first child in Rockingham County, VA.

Very good overall visual condition, with scattered crazing.
