ITALIAN RENAISSANCE-REVIVAL CARVED WALNUT PAIR OF SGABELLO HALL CHAIRS, each featuring an ornate back carved with female mythical figures flanking panels with vines, all supporting the crest rails, above a plank seat raised on a front support carved with matching figures, a central medallion depicting a dancing wolf, and hoof-like feet centering a gargoyle head. Each retains its original surface. Second half 19th century. 36 1/2" HOA, 11 1/4" x 15" seats.

Condition
Good solid condition, some scattered age cracks and small insect holes, wear to surfaces, mainly on the seats, one front hoof with patch.
