PAIR OF CONTINENTAL GILTWOOD MIRRORS, featuring an overhanging leaf pediment, and detailed scrolled designs surrounding shield-form mirrors. Retains a newer gilt surface. Likely Italian. 18th or 19th century. 38" HOA, 20" WOA, 8" DOA at pediment.

Condition
Good condition overall with several repairs and newly carved elements replacing those which were lost, notably the top ribbon-form designs at the crest on one example. Small metal attachment on one example implies that these may have had girandole arms attached at one time.
