JAPANESE IRON AND BRASS FLINTLOCK TINDER-BOX POCKET LIGHTER,, two-part walnut form iron case with hinged halves, one half fitted with lighter mechanism and a brass covering plate, hinged triggering mechanism, case opens by a tiny brass push-button, exterior of case accented with applied florets in copper and silver tone metals, base with a large brass floret and ring. 19th century. 7/8" x 1 3/4" overall.

Very good overall condition with expected wear, push-button with wear and slightly hard to open.
