JOHANN ADAM EYER (PENNSYLVANIA, 1755-1837) FOLK ART FRAKTUR DRAWING / COPY BOOKPLATE, watercolor and ink on laid paper, cover for a book of copy models (Vorschriften-Buchlein), heart reserve with inscription for Benjamin ("Beniamin") Landes and dated October 1784, below with sketches of a quill in an inkwell and a hand holding a quill, above featuring a colorful depiction of two distelfink/birds and stylized flowers including tulips, two other sketched birds perched on flower heads, border to all four sides. Circa 1784. 6 3/8" x 7 7/8" OA.

Fair to good as-found condition with toning, some stains and spotting, a sizable loss along proper right side that does not affect the inscription, a loss to lower border along proper left side, some small losses and short tears.
