JOHANN MARESCH (AUSTRIAN, 1821-1914) CERAMIC FIGURAL HUMIDORS, LOT OF THREE, each standing, comprising one example depicting a grinning mustachioed man with "Ausgezeichnet!" to his belt and holding bags of money, one example holding a pig under each arm, and one example depicting a figure with a duster in his belt, holding a book with "Hausordnung." to cover, and a newspaper with "Hauszins Liste." Marks to underside include impressed "JM" and various impressed numerals. Johann Maresch, Austria or Czechoslovakia. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 11 1/4" HOA.

Condition

Figure holding money bags having some minor scattered chips including to hat, one to end of mustache, and paint touch-ups; "Hausordnung." example having some restoration including hat brim, area on bottom of jacket on top, and to bottom with a few minute flakes to rim interior; figure with pigs having areas of restoration including bottom and a glued repair to one pig head.
