JOSEPH LONG LEHN (CLAY TOWNSHIP, LANCASTER CO., PENNSYLVANIA, 1798-1892) FOLK ART PAINT-DECORATED TURNED TREEN EGG CUP, urn-form with banded rim raised on a plain stem and stepped foot, retaining original vibrant polychrome strawberry decoration on a blue ground and chrome-yellow interior. Mid 19th century. 2 3/4" H, 2 3/8" D foot.
Condition
Moderate paint flaking to cup and top of foot, minute chip to edge of foot.
