JOSEPH LONG LEHN (CLAY TOWNSHIP, LANCASTER CO., PENNSYLVANIA, 1798-1892) FOLK ART PAINT-DECORATED TURNED TREEN SAFFRON CUP, diminutive urn-form cup raised on a ringed stem and stepped foot, the cover having a banded rim and knopped finial, retaining original vibrant polychrome floral and foliate decoration. Mid 19th century. 3 1/4" HOA, 2 1/4" H rim, 1 3/4" D foot.
Cup with 1/2" long chip to edge of foot and flaking to upper step, cover with some scattered light flaking, primarily to finial.
