JOSEPH LONG LEHN (CLAY TOWNSHIP, LANCASTER CO., PENNSYLVANIA, 1798-1892) FOLK ART PAINT-DECORATED TURNED TREEN SAFFRON CUP, urn-form cup raised on a plain stem and stepped foot, the cover having a banded rim and knopped finial, retaining original vibrant polychrome floral, foliate, and strawberry decoration. Mid 19th century. 4 5/8" HOA, 3 3/8" H rim, 2 3/8" D foot.
Good visual condition, cover with some light paint flaking to top and finial, foot with glued break and associated touchup to paint.
