MARGARET BOURKE-WHITE (AMERICAN, 1904-1967) USS AKRON PHOTOGRAPH, silver gelatin print, signed Bourke-White in ink lower right, housed in original frame made of duralumin, an aluminum alloy, with attached plaque inscribed: "Winner / Bruner Tire Co. / Third Annual Goodyear Dealers Zeppelin Race / July-August 1931 / This frame is made of duralumin used in girder / construction of the United States airship 'Akron' / Built by the Goodyear Zeppelin Corporation". Dated 1931. 20 1/2" x 26" OA.

Condition

Very good overall condition with very minor toning and discoloration. Frame with minor wear and discoloration. Not examined out of frame.
