MARYLAND AND PHILADELPHIA COIN SILVER LADLE AND TEASPOONS, LOT OF TEN, each with engraved decorated handle, comprising a punch/soup ladle by Canfield Bro. & Co. of Baltimore, MD (active 1845-1881) having engraved "B" initial to handle, and a set of nine teaspoons by George B. Sharp of Philadelphia, PA (active 1844-1874), who produced exclusively for Bailey & Co. from 1852 to 1866, having engraved "MSB" initials to handles. Each piece with maker's mark, teaspoons with pseudo hallmarks of three lion passants and an "S" mark. Total weight: 12.780 ozt. Mid/second half 19th century. Ladle 12" LOA.

Condition

Most good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other minor to moderate imperfections including dents, slight bending, nicks, and/or worn spots to engraved decoration; one teaspoon with heavy damage to bowl.
