MEXICAN AND OTHER FOREIGN SILVER ARTICLES, LOT OF TEN, comprising seven marked Mexican pieces consisting of a sterling Modernist serving spoon by Maciel Silver Factory of Mexico City, a sterling shell-form tea strainer, and a set of 0.850 silver flatware with repousse-type handles featuring four small butter spreaders and a baby/small fork; a Scandinavian 0.830 silver sauce/cream ladle by A. Hagen of Norway with twist-stemmed handle having engraved decoration; an unmarked silver, possibly silver-plated, tea ball/strainer with engraved floral decoration; and an unmarked silver demitasse-type cup featuring scrolled handle and engraved decoration, stamped "J" along exterior rim. Most pieces marked, unmarked pieces of unknown silver fineness/metal content. Total weight: 11.545 ozt. 19th/20th century, cup possibly earlier. Serving spoon 10 3/4" LOA.

Condition

Most in good to very good overall condition with minor to moderate wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including nicks, bending, one or more dents, and/or worn spots on decoration; ladle with a repair to edge of bowl near terminal of handle; cup with a sizable repair to one side.
