MID-ATLANTIC DECORATED STONEWARE JARS, LOT OF TWO, salt-glazed, each approximately one-gallon capacity, cylindrical form with incised shoulder ring. Each with brushed cobalt floral motif, one featuring a horizontal flower repeated three times at shoulder and one with vertical tulip-like flower repeated twice. Third quarter 19th century. 8 3/8" HOA, 4 5/8" DOA rim.
Condition
Vertical flower-decorated example undamaged; horizontal flower example having two drilled holes to base.
