MID-ATLANTIC DECORATED STONEWARE PITCHER, salt-glazed, approximately one-gallon capacity, ovoid form with incised neck ring, beaded and incised shoulder rings, applied strap handle, and beaded foot. Brushed cobalt horizontal flower to each side at shoulder and dropped three-petal flower to shoulder center, horizontal upright feather to each side of neck, upright feathers flanking spout, additional cobalt at handle terminals. Third quarter 19th century. 11 1/8" H, 5 1/2" D rim.

Having some areas of professional restoration with visible whitish residue to interior and a minor chip to edge of spout.
