MID-ATLANTIC DECORATED STONEWARE PITCHER, salt-glazed, "1" gallon capacity mark, ovoid form, plain rim with incised ring below, applied strap handle, and beaded ring above foot. Brushed cobalt horizontal double bloom flower design full round, horizontal flower to each side of neck, upright feathers flanking spout, additional cobalt stripe to rim and at handle terminals. Third quarter 19th century. 10 5/8" H, 5" D rim.
Condition
Having a minor chip to end of spout and some areas of professional restoration including side of spout and hairline to shoulder.
