MID-ATLANTIC, PROBABLY PENNSYLVANIA, WALNUT STEP-BACK CUPBOARD, two-piece construction, the upper case with bold, applied cornice of ogee profile above two fielded-panel doors displaying gothic arch design, lower case with two short drawers at waist above two fielded-panel doors, the whole raised on a cut-out bracket-foot base. Poplar secondary wood. Retains likely original hardware and knobs, and an old surface with warm color. Circa 1870. 87 1/2" HOA, 50" WOA, 21" DOA.
