MID-ATLANTIC, PROBABLY PENNSYLVANIA, CHIPPENDALE WALNUT CHEST OF DRAWERS,
rectangular two-board top fitted with applied edge molding above four graduated drawers having thumb-molded profile, flanked by fluted quarter columns and solid ends, the whole raised on an applied ogee bracket foot base exhibiting spurred profile. Poplar secondary wood. Retains an old surface with warm color.

Good overall visual condition with scattered minor wear, small losses to drawer lips. Brasses probably replaced in original drillings. Feet replaced. Restoration to drawer secondary and other interior elements. Other possible repairs.
