MID-ATLANTIC, PROBABLY PENNSYLVANIA, PAINTED PINE BLANKET CHEST, the rectangular hinged lid over a dovetailed case above two short drawers with thumb-molded profile, all raised on turned feet. Retaining original wrought-iron strap hinges and paint-decorated surface. Circa 1820. 31 1/2" H, 20" D, 47 1/4" W.
