MID-ATLANTIC, PROBABLY PENNSYLVANIA, PAINTED PINE BLANKET CHEST, the rectangular hinged lid over a dovetailed case, interior with lidded till, all raised on turned feet mortised through the bottom board. Poplar secondary wood. Retaining original vibrant paint-decorated surface. Second quarter 19th century. 24" H, 22 1/2" D, 44" W.
