MONUMENTAL FREE-BLOWN TRUMPET VASE, brilliant deep amethyst, deep conical bowl with a boldly folded rim, raised on an applied quadruple-knop stem and a circular foot with a polished pontil mark. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. 1840-1870. 16 3/4" HOA, 4 3/4" D rim, 5" D foot.
