NEW ENGLAND QUEEN ANNE CARVED MAHOGANY VENEER WALL MIRROR, rectangular frame with molded profile and carved liner, oversized crest above exhibiting cut-out profile with central stylized tulip, possibly original mirror plate. Pine secondary wood. Retains an early dry surface. Mid 18th century. 19 3/4" x 10 3/4" OA.
Provenance: From the collection of Kathy and Dr. Joseph Arvay, Mendham, NJ.
Condition
Good overall condition with cracks and old repairs to veneers. Crest slightly bowed. Mirror plate likely replaced.
