NEW JERSEY ATTRIBUTED DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, approximately two-gallon capacity, cylindrical form with flat-top rounded rim and sharp shoulder. Double rouletted shoulder rings with brushed cobalt foliate and dot medial decoration. First half 19th century. 14 1/8" H, 5 3/4" D rim.
Condition
Undamaged, having some white residue to interior from use. Manufacturing flaws including slumping rim, as made.
