NORTHEASTERN "BOSTON" DECORATED STONEWARE CROCK, salt-glazed, approximately four-gallon capacity, cylindrical wide-mouth form with flat-top rounded rim and applied arched handles, Albany-slip glazed interior. Slip-trailed cobalt ribbon to one side with "BOSTON" inscription. Circa 1875. 12" H, 12 7/8" D rim.

Having areas of restoration, some flaking.
