NORMAN MAFFEI (AMERICAN, 1923-2015) AMERICAN NAUTICAL SCENE, oil on board, depicting ships and boats in a harbor, retains artist's description to the back describing the scene as Capt. John Paul Jones with the naval ship "Providence" across the bows of "HMS Solebay". Housed in original painted frame. Signed by the artist lower right. Second half 20th century. 15 1/4" x 23 1/4" sight, 20 1/2" x 28 1/2" OA.
