NORTH CAROLINA OR VIRGINIA YELLOW PINE MINIATURE BLANKET CHEST, hinged rectangular lid with applied edged molding, over nailed case, raised on applied bracket feet, interior with later wallpaper lining. Retains an old surface with warm color. First half 19th century. 7 1/2" H, 11 1/4" W, 7" D.
Condition
Very good overall condition, with minor repairs to feet.
