NORTH CAROLINA REYNOLD'S FAMILY BACK BAR SELTZER BOTTLES, LOT OF THREE, each electric blue grooved panel bottle etched "LONG CREEK / LODGE" below shoulder and with original metal dispenser top, two tops also embossed for Long Creek Lodge, each etched "MADE IN / CZECHO / SLOVAKIA" to underside of base. 12" HOA. Circa 1935.
Provenance: From the Ann and Clay Ring family collection, Winston-Salem, NC.
Catalogue Note: Long Creek Lodge was constructed by the Long Creek Fishing Club in the 1920s. The property was acquired in 1933 by R.J. Reynolds as the center of the family's rustic country estate "Devotion" in Surry Co., NC. By 1938 Reynolds had expanded the Blue Ridge Mountain retreat to 11,000 acres.
