OHIO / PENNSYLVANIA "LIBERTY" JACQUARD COVERLET, dark blue and rust red wool, and light blue and natural cotton, two joined panels, center featuring repeated floral and geometric pattern, two side edges with floral and fylfot-type motifs, bottom edge with a border of church buildings flanked by tulips alternating with potted flowers, three edges with fringe. Bottom corners with spread-wing eagle above "LIBERTY". Mid 19th century. 70" x 88" with fringe.

Condition

Good to very good overall condition with light to moderate toning, center seam restitched, top edge with wear and tear, a few spots of loss to cotton on one panel, losses to fringe and to bottom edge.
