OUTSTANDING 34-STAR KANSAS-STATEHOOD CIVIL WAR-PERIOD AMERICAN NATIONAL FLAG, hand-sewn cotton linen throughout, pieced blue canton featuring extremely unusual cluster- / snowflake- type design of double-appliqued, irregularly sized five-pointed stars, fly with pieced elements. Conservation mounted in a modern frame. 1861-1863. 65" x 95" object, 69" x 100" OA.
