PAIR OF AMERICAN BENNINGTON FLINT ENAMEL ROCKINGHAM-GLAZE POTTERY FIGURAL LIONS, mottled brown glaze, each having coleslaw mane, standing with one front paw on ball, mouth agape, and tail resting on back, comprising one example with tongue down and other with tongue up. Each having old hand-brushed museum accession number to underside of paw "2134", "81.708.2" and "81.708.1". Lyman Fenton & Co., Bennington, VT. 1849-1858. 7 3/8" HOA, 10" LOA.
