PAPIER MACHE MILLINER'S MODEL LADY DOLL, unmarked, shoulder plate head, painted facial features including brown eyes, eyebrows, and a pink closed mouth, kid-leather torso body with un-jointed lower wooden limbs, molded hair painted black with corkscrew curls, paint decorated legs and shoes. Period clothing including a green striped satin dress with brown and black lace covering having matching head attire, period undergarments. Second half 19th century. 16" H.
Very good overall condition with expected wear, expected cracking to papier mache, wooden limb tips with roughness/minute losses, each foot reattached. Clothing with expected wear and deterioration to the silk dress.
