PARR FAMILY ATTRIBUTED, RICHMOND, VIRGINIA DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, "2" gallon capacity mark, cylindrical form with squared rim. Bold brushed cobalt dropped feather decoration repeated three times from neck. Attributed to David Parr Jr. (1819-1882) or John L. Parr operating the Richmond Pottery Co. (after 1866-1890). 1860-1890. 12 1/2" HOA, 7 1/2" DOA.
