SMITH / BUFFALO" behind site, iron buttplate, pewter foreend cap, double-set trigger, lockplate marked "PARTRIDGE" with engraved decoration, additional engraved decoration to the hammer, period ramrod appears frozen. Mid 19th century. 50 3/4" LOA, 35 1/4" L barrel. Class: Antique - no registration required.
Hammer will not set, stock with some small dents, a crack at the wrist, and small loss to bottom edge forward of buttplate.
