PATTERN-MOLDED AND CHAIN DECORATED COVERED APOTHECARY JAR, deep blue (almost black), urn-form body with 12 vertical ribs with a medial chain band, applied sloping circular foot, topped with a double-knop steeple cover, rough pontil mark. Norwegian. 19th century. 14" HOA, 9 3/4" H base.
