PATTERN-MOLDED DIAMOND QUILT FOOTED OPEN SALT, colorless with an applied blue rim, ogee form with five rows of raised diamonds, raised on a short ribbed stem and applied circular foot, rough pontil mark. Possibly Thomas Cains' South Boston Flint Glass Works or Cains' Glass House. 1800-1830. 3 1/4" H, 2 1/4" D rim, 2 1/4" D foot.
