PATTERN-MOLDED RIB FOOTED OPEN SALT, deep cobalt blue, double-ogee bowl patterned with approximately 21 vertical ribs, raised on a short ribbed stem and an applied circular sloping foot with rough pontil mark. Together with a reproduction Diamond-Quilt footed salt. Two pieces total. Pittsburgh area, Ohio, or England. 1810-1835. 2 5/8" H, 2 1/8" D rim, 2" D foot.
