PERKINS & HOUSE SAFETY BRASS KEROSENE ARGAND STAND LAMP, font marked "PERKINS & HOUSE / SAFETY LAMP / CLEV'D NON-EXPLOSIVE LAMP CO. / CLEVELAND & NEW YORK" and "PAT'D. - DEC.11.1866 / NOV 24.1857 / NOV.18.1871.", filler cap impressed with patent information, cast-iron base with bronze finish, ribbed stem and foot, Fitted with a correct period set-up comprising an Argand burner, stamped 6 1/4" D shade ring, opaque white conical-form shade and a colorless chimney. Cleveland Non-Explosive Lamp Co. Third quarter 19th century. 16 1/4" H to top of shade, 9 1/4" H to top of font, 3 3/4" SQ foot.

Excellent condition, font with some scattered light denting. Setup undamaged, shade and chimney rims with normal as-made roughness
