PILLAR-MOLDED DECANTERS, LOT OF TWO, colorless, comprising a tall cylindrical form and a pint bulbous form, each having eight vertical ribs and an applied neck ring, one having a polished pontil mark, one having a rough pontil mark. Pittsburgh area. 1850-1870. 9 1/8" and 11 3/4" H.
Provenance: From the Peter H. Tillou estate, Litchfield, CT.
Tall in very good condition with a few scattered minute bruises and flakes with moderate to heavy overall wear; shorter in excellent condition with some minute bruises near the base, some light high-point wear.
