PILLAR-MOLDED OPEN COMPOTES, LOT OF TWO, colorless, comprising one having a hemispherical bowl, and the other a wide bowl, each raised on a solid stem and applied circular foot, rough pontil marks. Pittsburgh area. 1850-1870. 6 1/4" and 7" H, 6 3/4" and 7 1/4" D.

Undamaged with each having minor or moderate interior wear. Wide example having bruising in association with the pontil mark, as made.
