PITTSBURGH VICTORIAN DECORATED KEROSENE PARLOR LAMP, opaque white pyriform font holder with multi-tones of brown ground and equestrian themed scenery depicting work horses at an auction, matching decorated ball-form shade with brass heat ring to upper rim, shade interior retains a probably original paper label indicating "NO." and "DEC", vase lined with a cast-iron and metal holder, extended ornamentation of scroll pattern, brass unpatterned drop-in font with side-refill feature, brass finished cast iron foot with acanthus leaves and beaded ornamentation, underside impressed "943". Fitted with a period Pittsburgh Success burner. Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Co. Circa 1905. 30 1/2" H to top of shade, 16 1/2" H to top of font holder, 9 1/4" D foot.

Condition

Excellent condition, expected minor wear, primarily to brass finish and decoration, shade fitter with normal as-made minor flakes/roughness, drop-in font with some light denting. Burner undamaged, shade ring with alterations.
