ROCKINGHAM CO., SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA FRAKTUR, hand-colored woodblock birth record printed by Johann Gruber and Daniel May, Hagerstown, Maryland, the main text panel features a spread-wing American eagle above inked names (not transcribed), and born in Rockingham County, State of Virginia June 22, 1822. Not framed. 13 3/4" x 11 3/4.

Condition
Very good overall condition with bright colors, visible stain to lower right and some other small stains, 1" x 2 1/2" loss to the upper left corner, left edge with small tears/folds, but intact, typical fold creases.
