RUGGLES UNDERHAMMER PERCUSSION PISTOL, approximately 28 cal., octagonal to round barrel stamped "CAST-STEEL" to side flat, round hammer, walnut stock with flat checkered grips, custom silver inlay to one side, and brass binding strap, top strap stamped "A. RUGGLES / STAFFORD (CONN)" and with engraved ferns, rear sight and front blade. Circa 1834. 10 1/4" LOA, 6" barrel. Class: Antique - no registration required.
Mechanically operable, very good condition, small loss to hammer mouth, light rust to underside of barrel and hammer.
