SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA, EARTHENWARE / STONEWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF THREE, comprising a lead-glazed earthenware 7" H ovoid form jug having mouth with incised ring and applied strap handle with medial ridge and thumb-pressed lower terminal, and two approximately one-half gallon capacity salt-glazed stoneware jars including an ovoid-form canner with cork rim and a jar with angled rim. Jug attributed to the New Market, VA area. Second half 19th century. 8 1/4" HOA.
