STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN HISTORICAL TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, featuring the Arms of Georgia depicting the arch of the "CONSTITUTION" supported by pillars representing "WISDOM", "JUSTICE" and "MODERATION" with waves crashing against the landform and "GEORGIA" printed below. Marks include printed American eagle grasping ribbon with "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and impressed eagle encircled by "T MAYER STOKE STAFFORDSHIRE / WARRANTED" and "12". Thomas Mayer, Stoke-on-Trent and Longport, England. 1826-1838. 12 7/8" x 9 7/8".
