STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC COMPOTE, footed two-handled circular form, featuring three distinct views including City Hall, New York to interior, Charleston’s Exchange to one side, and the Bank of Savannah to other side. Printed mark "BEAUTIES OF AMERICA / CITY HALL / NEW YORK / J & W RIDGWAY" to underside. John & William Ridgway, Shelton, Hanley, England. 1813-1830. 4 7/8" HOA, 10" D rim.
